Architect Andreas Wenning of German firm baumraum is behind this particular treat, a small tree house wrapped around a large old oak tree.
Built 11 meters off the ground the treehouse enables the owner to relax and get away from it all.
The house is accessed around the back of the main residence and could even act as a fun place for guests to sleep.
A steel staircase spirals around the age-old tree, giving access to the modern treehouse. A door built into the deck opens to let you enter.
The structure is supported by two large steel rods, with further support from the house being attached to the tree.
There is even a good-sized deck for entertaining that has beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
Inside there’s a fitted double bed. There is also a window seat on the opposite side of the tree house, with further splendid views.
